Marina Dropez and Shivani Sinha are awarded the Jorge Mañá Award 2024!

The WLN Board are very pleased to announce the winners of the Jorge Mañá Award grant this year:
Our 2024 awardees are: Marina Drópez (Bufete Mañá-Krier-Elvira, Barcelona) and Shivani Sinha (India Law Offices, Dew Delhi).
The winner's grant will support Marina in spending time with fellow WLN member firm Flood Herslow Holme in Stockholm, and it will support Shivani in spending time with Paoletti Legal Consultants in Dubai!
The WLN Board members all send Marina and Shivani our warm congratulations.
The Board have decided to award two grants this year, and from 2025 it is planned to run two Award cycles during the year as part of our commitment to our junior WLN lawyers, with one awardee per cycle.
Background: the Jorge Mañá Young Lawyers Award is an annual grant made by WLN to a lawyer under the age of 35 who is employed by a WLN member firm. Jorge Mañá Argüelles was a valued colleague, friend and partner in WLN, who died tragically after a skiing accident in spring 2009 at the age of 41. The WLN Board promotes the Award in memory of Jorge and as a symbol for the good relationships in the network which lie at the heart of satisfying and prosperous business.
