Dear Colleagues,
We can announce a great new challenging WLN event in Barcelona on FRIDAY 1 JUNE 2018, where we will combine:
- WLN Academy;
- WLN Next; and
- an event opened to potential clients.
This program is open to all WLN members and members of the ASEAN Legal Alliance (ALA) and their guests, but please be aware that WLN Academy is subject to limitation of places.
We have achieved an interesting agreement with “Foment del Treball”.
Who/what is Foment del Treball?

Foment del Treball is one of the most important enterprise associations in Europe and especially in Spain. It was founded in the 18th century. Members of Foment are not only companies but also other associations. More than 10,000 companies are linked to Foment, a great majority engage in export activity or are already international or global companies with interests all over the world.
What is the agreement with Foment? Foment will let us use their home for Academy purposes. Foment will publish our activity in its agenda of activities taking place in their premises. Members of Foment who wish to do so, can also attend the WLN Academy.
WLN Academy
Education, promotion and visibility have been the mottos of our previous three WLN Academy events within conferences. Now we will move forward and have a separate WLN Academy event. Why? We think it is important for the WLN Academy to gain free-standing profile; and you can no doubt anticipate why it is important for WLN to promote education, promotion and visibility.
For this occasion we have prepared a program based on the interest of potential clients and Foment.
See right for the link to the programme of the project. A light lunch will be served in the Academy.
Hotel reservation
This project is based on the principle “book your own hotel”. Barcelona offers a wide offer of Hotels and prices. Therefore, everyone should find a hotel to suit his/her needs & budget.

Friday WLN Mediterranean dinner
For Friday we will have a Mediterranean dinner at the wonderful harbour restaurant One Ocean Club
WLN Next Program – 2 JUNE 2018
WLN Next will have the opportunity to join the WLN Academy on Friday, 1 June 2018 but the group will also have its own meeting on Saturday morning in the offices of Bufete MañáKrierElvira and focus on follow up projects concerning the WLN Academy.
If any of your office’s young Lawyers wants to join the WLN Academy / WLN Next event in Barcelona and / or become a member of the Next Group please contact Susanna Grichtmaier (s.grichtmaier@factum-legal.com). She will be happy to welcome them and provide more information.

Cost and Registration
The cost per person (adult) of the three events (Academy, Friday’s dinner, and Cava Lunch on Saturday) will be 200 Euros (175 for accompanying persons that will not attend the Academy).
