Turkey: AKT Law Firm wins EMEA Finance 2018 Achievement Award

We warmly congratulate AKT Law Firm (WLN member firm in Istanbbul) on winning the EMEA Finance 2018 Achievement Award for the Best Structured Deal in CEE. The award recognizes the firm's work on the US$173 million ECA-covered trade finance loan for the Kolin & Kalyon FSRU vessel. AKT Partner Serra Aksakal accepted this award at the 2018 EMEA Finance Achievement Awards Charity Dinner, held at The Royal Horseguards Hotel in London on 13 June 2019.
In 2017, AKT was also involved in the handling and negotiations of the shipbuilding contract for the FSRU (LNG Floating Storage Regasification Unit) constructed by Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd, delivered on 10 June 2019 with legal assistance provided by AKT Law Firm.
